Emails in Momentum

In Momentum users can compose e-mails to teammates, non-teammates, donors, etc. This feature is useful if you are sending a thank you message, updating your team (if you have created one), or asking for fundraising support! Below are the steps to do this and the various templates to choose from.

Composing an E-mail & Templates

  1. Select the Email icon in the upper right menu
  2. Within this area you can compose an e-mail, see your sent e-mails, and your drafted e-mails
  3. Within ‘Compose Email’ you can select Template e-mails Edge Web Apps has created below:

Support Me template:

I recently accepted the challenge of participating in a [Fundraiser] benefiting the [Organization here]. [Organization] helps feed more than 27,000 people in [Location].

I am asking you to help by supporting my fundraising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference in the lives of many! It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause – you can make your donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. If you prefer, you can also send your gift cheque made out to [Organization] to me.

Any amount, great or small, helps provide healthy nutritious food for [organization] members. I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.

Saying Thank You template:

Thank you! Thank you for supporting my efforts in this [fundraiser]. Thank you for recognizing the importance of helping people who don’t have enough to eat; and thank you for your donation – your gift will help provide healthy nutritious food, education and training at the [organization].

If you want to follow my progress, you can check my personal page at any time to see how close I am to achieving my fundraising goal. You can also follow links from that page to learn more about the event, and how you can get involved as a volunteer or a participant.

  1. To add a Contact select ‘All Contacts’ and select ‘New Contact +’ on the right
  2. The Email feature automatically sorts Donors that haven’t been thanked, Donors that have been thanked, Non-Donors, Teammates and Non-Teammates
